How Meghan Markle conned her way into Hollywood

She's just your average LA gold digger.

Sounds like every other "actress" in LA. *yawn*

The clip of her is more revealing of her than anything I've seen. A real piece of work.

I am not saying she isn't conniving, but this Youtube is done by someone who obviously doesn't know acting. Most actors HOPE to get Taft Hartlied into SAG. Actually that is how most actors obtain their SAG cards. I think each job allows a spot for non union to workers to work. And if you are able to get three of those gigs, you can join the Union. This says nothing about her as a person. Or that she conned anything. You cannot get a JOB unless you state whether you are a union or not. So the pretending to be in the Union part probably was with the casting director until she got the JOB and then they discovered she wasn't Union and would have to be Taft Hartlied. It is not a big deal at all. Actually it's kind of smart.

Actually the story that Rami Malek would have had to have been Taft Hartlied for his first gig too since he wasn't Union at the time he booked it. But if a job wants you bad enough, they'll make room for you - as the guy says, "they'll find a way." Meghan only lied to to be seen by a casting director. But they liked her enough that they wanted to book her. It's tantamount to being asked if you can drive stick-shift or ride a horse during a casting call and you say yes, even though you can't.

If it wasn't such a big deal, why did the casting directors, as she said, not want to touch her again?

Those casting directors didn't want to touch her because she lied to them. But she got the gig. And and those very same casting directors filed the paperwork for her to work. If it was a big deal, she wouldn't have gotten the job or really ever worked again. It is not as big of a deal as this man making this 10 minute video claims it would be. And I DO believe that Meghan is calculating enough that if it was a big deal to her or her career or anyone else, she would never be telling the story so casually in front of a the press.

Big deal or not, I think the clip reveals her to be very driven, very self-focused, and not particularly concerned about any trouble she caused to those in her way. In other words, not unlike a large number of LA actresses, but definitely not the qualities you'd want as serving member of the British royal family. No wonder she went down in flames.
