I don't understand how he can say he was uncomfortable at Adele's event when he claims to be stoned during all his scenes in his movies. I call bullshit.

I've seen him light up in public appearances regularly, always smirking about it like he thinks he is being so edgy. So yeah, bullshit.

I like Seth. But he also said in a Big Times profile in the last year or two that he essentially starts smoking when he gets up in the morning and proceeds to do so throughout the day.

This seems more like he just wanted to talk about smoking weed, his clear life’s passion. He doesn’t really seem to be able to relate to much without framing it around weed somehow.

He's honestly a fucking mess. Yes, there's nothing wrong with being stoned sometimes. But he's well known for being the "stoned" guy and smoking weed several times a day. At this point it seems he needs pot to find the world amusing.

I'm totally for legalising it everywhere, just to say up front.

But like, smoking it still fucks your lungs up (and those of the people around you) like smoking nicotine does, doesn't it? So it's not necessarily something to recommend either is it? People are going more down the edible road now, aren't they? That's what I would do if they were available in my country (whenever I have smoked it I've never had much of an effect, unfortunately).

He claims to be constantly stoned during filming of his movies. How can he remember his lines if he does that? Or does he ad lib most of it?

R12 I'll admit to doing that a lot. I can't speak for them but I have a mildly ADHD mind. It isn't to the level that doctors think I qualify for pills. But, I have found if I wake and bake and just keep it level throughout the day I'm much more productive because I'm able to actually focus on single tasks.

I’m a wake-n-baker. It takes the edge off my anxiety and, like r14, it does help with focus in certain activities. But I am self-aware enough to know that I probably overuse it, and wish I was better with a “little goes a long way” approach.

Same R14 and R17. I have ADHD and have meds for during the day, but will get baked around late afternoon and depending on what's going on I'll wake and bake on the weekends. Weed just works for me. I'm not a big drinker and alcohol makes me feel like shit. I love weed. The world would be a better place if more people were stoned.

R17 R18 Let me tell y'all a story about the first time I waked-n-baked. I was in college. I had an elective drama course where the final exam was that each team had to write and present an original 15-30 min play. I wrote my team's play and was, of course, the star. I love the spotlight and performing, but I get stage fright. The moment I walk on stage I'm fine, but the time before I am a wreck. So, I got very fucking high that morning and went in there and tore it up. For the rest of my college career, every time I ran into that professor he would beg me to switch majors. I often wish I had. I knew a guy in the drama department who thought he was hot shit, but I was way better and better looking. He has managed to have a low-key but steady career in Hollywood. I wouldn't have hated that. So I can understand actors like Rogen or Pitt doing it.

He's going to need to reinvent himself like Jonah Hill into an actor with more range who can take on serious roles. No matter what Seth Rogan plays, he is still Seth Rogan. He does make his own content though. Maybe he can do a Reese Witherspoon, figure out his market, and then just continue to play the same role he excels in.

I’m envious of all you who get to smoke it. I like it, but only have it once in a blue moon when an out of town friend brings it. I can’t buy it in a shop because it’s not legal in this state. I don’t care that it isn’t legal, but I’m too introverted to make the social connections to find someone to sell it to me. I have no idea how people do that.

Weed has a more harmless reputation. The news media is filled with horror stories of things people did while drunk (causing a fatal car accident while driving, starting fights while drunk, self harm, etc.). With weed it's mainly guys being silly, goofing around, giggling, and saying the silliest or most profound stuff.
