Given the hysteria over that show and Farrah’s exit, I don’t think many could have pulled off what Cheryl Ladd did with her role as Kris Munroe. Seasons 2 & 3 of Charlie’s Angels were good TV.

Real question should be : who should’ve replaced kate jackson.? Although once she left the show died.

Ladd was perfection - It was her idea to play Jill's younger sister. The public couldn't hate Jill's younger sister, everyone loved Farrah. The rating actually improved in season 2

It's scary how none of the Angels were African American, Hispanic or Asian, despite the fact that there was six Angels in total during the show's five season run.

People complain how none of main cast of Beverly Hills 90210(another Aaron Spelling production) were black, but if you think about it, Charlie's Angels was the real horror show.

As I recall, the producers did consider adding a black actress to the show (Jayne Kennedy if I remember correctly) but ultimately decided against it.

Jayne Kennedy could almost give Rachel Dolezal a run for her money, but it would have been a start.

Farrah was the star! They should have kept her but brought in Pam Grier to replace that wooden Jaclyn Smith. She coulda been a badass cop from the Bronx!

They got it right with Cheryl Ladd but missed the mark with Shelley Hack. I don't think Tanya Roberts was that great either. The show really was about the chemistry of the girls more than the "look".

As far as the white washing goes, it was 45 years ago and TV was segregated. There was white TV and black TV shows.
