Its actually interesting looking back. I think Allo Allo is probably the gentlest and last of a certain type of older era of British sitcom (e.g. It Ain't Half Hot Mum). Its pretty much the music hall aren't music stereotypes hilarious. In the 90s. I genuinely don't think if you made as show like this now you'd actually be able to just say "make the Nazis horny perverts"
