School of Chocolate on Netflix
Have any of you watched this yet? It's pretty good. The instructor, Amaury Guichon, is sort of hot, in an aspie type of way, and is an unbelievably talented chocolatier. He's so good he has 4.5 million followers on Instagram where he has videos of him building showpieces.
The main thing about this show is that it has the single most detestable contestant on any reality show I have ever watched, and I have watched quite a few series in various genres so that is saying something. Melissa is the most loathsome person ever in her one-on-one interviews.

While Mellissa was super horrible, I thought Juan was way too full of himself, too.

Sweet God. Mellissa with two Ls. No wonder she is a horrible egotistical bitch. Her parents obviously hated her even before she was born and turned into a bitch.

Of course that's your take away from a cool show with cute gay guys as contestants: how much you hate a woman on the show.

Im a straight woman and I hate Mellisa too. The host/chef is amazing. What a gifted teacher.

Never seen it.
But! I once sat across the aisle to the Lindt Master Chocolatier on a plane.

Guichon is obviously talented, but using a lathe to carve chocolate isn't exactly revolutionary. It was okay. And I don't like Mellisa, either. She had some strong ideas, but the level of entitlement was off the charts.
Did anyone else watch Metal Shop Masters? I have a bit of a crush on Ivan. YUM.

R4, I don't hate women in general at all, and I did enjoy most of the other contestants, but Mellissa was SO loathsome that her loathsomeness was, indeed, my main take-away from the show, other than the fact that the instructing chef has fantastic talent as a chocolatier.

I'm surprised this show isn't getting more comments.
