“Real Housewives of Miami” gets a new season, 8 years later

Julia Lemigova was a Miss Universe contestant from the "USSR" in 1991.

I remember watching that pageant, and she made it all the way to Top 3.

She was so sweet and innocent back then, at 18 years old.

Whoops.

For those of you who don't know, Julia's a lesbian now and married to Martina Navratilova since 2014.

I thought the first two episodes were surprisingly good. The show is much improved having dropped the annoying and matronly Leah Black. Joanna Krupa is really not missed either. Larsa Pippen is aggravating though.

I spent last week binging RHOMiami seasons 2 & 3, so I could start the new Peacock run of the show. So far I am enjoying the new season, Alexia's surgeries and fillers are a bit much, Adriana doesn't look like Adriana and her boob job is freakish. Marysol looks good, she's aged but didn't go over the top with the surgeries/filler. Martina's woman looks like she's going to be spicy. The anesthesiologist is a wild card to me...

Larsa is a shameless wannabe ho, but she looks good for 47. Lisa went way too far on the surgeries, looks like that wildenstein cat lady.

How did Alexia snag this guy Tod? Is he a closeted like her last hubby was..?

I need to watch this. Miami is one of my moms favs

Larsa needs to go. Walking around in the backyard with a fake ass?! It’s easy to see she will be the one who is bullied. Adriana is still hostile so that’s good. I am hypnotized by Alexia and always have been. Marysol is okay. Her sense of humor is nice. I don’t know how anyone could say she has good surgery or didn’t go overboard though with that freakish lip and extra long space between nose and upper lip. Lisa looks crazy but her personality is pretty fun and friendly. It’s obvious she’s different in a good way now that she’s a mom. Joanna and her loser sister Marta are not missed. A cameo from Lea Black would be enough for anyone.

r5 here, when I said Marysol went easy on the surgeries, I meant since Season 3 which was what 7 years ago? She had that wide simian lip to nose space and weird lips back then. She hasn't added additional freakishness to the original freakishness. Adriana's face looks crooked/droopy/off, I can't put my finger on it. Larsa looks like a straight up hooker, but if Scottie Pippen is only worth $20MM and she has four kids, girl needs to bring home the bacon, turning tricks with all the middle eastern men in her dms.

Who was the woman in episode one that wanted to milk the goat with her mouth. OMG I can't believe she said that out loud on camera.
