My fav was Isaac, played by Daniel Sharman. I stopped watching after he and Colton left.

Daniel is from the later episodes, R4.

Season One was the GOLDEN AGE of Teen Wolf.

The only good season, in my opinion.

I did like Isaac and his scarves. That season where Stiles went evil really did kill the show. Sure it was a good performance for O'Brien but it made the show a lot darker and more serious than a MTV show about shirtless guys was capable of handling. And with half the cast leaving and then Liam and his gang coming in it was never the same.

Everyone on the show was attractive, the women also. Casting wanted young people interested, and it was normal to cast hot people in teen shows back then. Now they need a trans and fatty etc.

Stiles never did it for me. At times his face kind of reminded me of Lon Chaney in Phantom of the Opera.

MTV has always been gay-friendly. Stuff in the 90s like The Real World and Undressed, that Gregg Araki TV pilot "This is How The World Ends" and then all those awful 2000s dating shows that heavily featured gays and lesbians and Teen Wolf. I appreciate the network for sexualizing the hell out of beautiful guys and giving gay boys something to masturbate over.

I talk to a lot of people and it doesn't seem this show lasted the test of time like Buffy, Charmed, Supernatural, True Blood and even The Vampire Diaries die. I rarely hear Teen Wolf being discussed today. Maybe because it was on MTV which has an even smaller audience. I was actually surprised it got renewed so many times because MTV cancels everything after one season.

As someone who watched this series from the very beginning, I would have to say that only the first two seasons were good. And season one was the best.

It started with werewolf lore, and continued with that into season two.

The characters were great, and the story was well done.

Then the show started to go off the rails. They started to introduce something called a "Kanima," and from there, they brought in a whole host of other creatures. It really strayed off the werewolf story line, which was terrible.

On top of that, popular characters started leaving and getting killed off early in the series. Scott's girlfriend quit, and Colton Haynes got written out of the show.

I tried sticking with it, but I just lost interest.

Not even Tyler and Dylan could lure me back in.

MTV should reboot Spyder Games or Undressed. I watched some episodes on YouTube and there great trashy self-aware soaps with this postmodern vibe and comic relief. A lot of gay too and casually handed.

Gregg Araki recycled plots and characters from This Is How The World Ends to make Kaboom! and later Now Apocalypse.

I didn't mind the Kanima storyline in Season 2 because it gave Jackson some great, usually shirtless, scenes.

I was very disappointed that he didn't return for Season 3 after he finally became a werewolf at the end of Season 2.

Colton's XY Magazine photoshoot. I remember he tried hard to pull them off the internet claiming they were exploitative as he was underage. He really just went into the closet to rise up in Hollywood and didn't want to be outed. Of course, he ended up coming out anyway. They were cute pictures of him and his then-bf. They looked madly in love. Beefcake shots and a bit sexualized but not at all pornographic and his guardian would have to sign a release for them to be shot anyway. XY was a countercultural magazine for gay teens and college kids, just shirtless photos of twunks, not porn-porn. I don't hold it against Colton, he was young and trying to land his feet in the industry and he admits he was not proud of that. He came out anyway and has been honest about his life since.

Nowadays, it's about actors being relatable, quirky looking having some talent and more depth which is good for quality of acting in film but pretty bad for pretty boys like Colton who can't get cast in much.

That said, what role did Jerreth play in outing Colton?

I'm actually glad he did it. I remember being blown away at the time, because Colton was so hot, and then to find out he's gay too? That was really a bombshell.

Now it seems like such a small thing, but back then it was a huge deal.

Honestly, it was best for Colton that he was outed and came out when he did. I like him and all but he seems a bit bipolar. Being closeted for a long time (had he became a major Hollywood star) would have fucked him up far worse.

Certain people here always say that the show went ":off the rails" (same exact phrase in every thread) after season 2. My personal favorite was season 3, I found it a vast improvement. I thought season 3 ramped up the suspense, as did season 5. No Cody Christian fans here? Or Dylan Sprayberry? I like Colton Haynes but I was not crazy about how his character was somewhat ill-defined and I could never tell if we were supposed to like him or hate him.

I think I'd slurp the jizz out of every dude that ever appeared on any one of these teen shows they got today. These men are gorgeous! Gorgeous, I tell you!

What really killed the show was that it just didn't care to go deep. It was just a shallow teen horror show that used any excuse to have the guys shirtless. They could've gone really deep with some great mythologies they introduced, but it just remained superficial and then dropped completely. Same with character development.

Dylan O'Brien's Stiles made the show in the first season with his comic relief enthusiasm (remember when he was obsessed about whether Danny likes him or not?). Tyler Posey was absolutely terrible and Dylan did all the heavy lifting in their scenes together, and he was the one responsible creating the mad friendship energy Scott and Stiles had.

Colton is a strange one. He always has either the "keep your distance!" resting bitch face or the "Oh shit, you are really getting close, aren't you?" scared look. Not sexy imho.

It was a hot cast, but so many missed opportunities. Tragic. But it was a success for MTV and I kept watching until the bitter end anyway.

There have been threads about the show because of the upcoming movie. Colton's don't get much traction since his divorce and Dylan O'Brien's barely register.

And R93 Danny and Ethan had a few kissing scenes. There was sort of a sex scene in 3A, which ironically was the same episode Sterek shippers wanted fans to boycott because of Jennifer. In the later seasons it was Mason and Corey. Kind of ironic that Malia ended up having the most explicit sex scene.

You can't go back, hunties. These actors are old. Every year there are a gazillion fresh new teen TV series all over the world. Find something fresh. Don't live in the past.

A gay couple played by Khylin Rambo and Michael Johnston was a big part of Seasons 5 ands 6, Mason (Khylin) being Liam's (Dylan Sprayberry) best friend and a big part of the Dread Doctors storyline. I don't think there were any sex scenes on the show of any kind, other than implied.

There were also lesbian subplots and bisexual characters.

Why was Daniel Sharman written out?

R110 he wanted to leave for other stuff. He'd just broken up with Crystal Reed as well which I guess made filming awkward that season. The fact he just "moved to Paris" rather than getting killed off kind of made me think Jeff Davies was ashtrays going he'd come back.

I like Dylan O'Brien, certainly the most talented performer in the Teen Wolf shit-show. Can absolutely see him appearing in a film, TW was his big break and he seems to be genuinely grateful for the opportunity and loyal to his friends.

Dylan has great comedic instincts, pity his handlers seem determined to make him yet another interchangeable B-movie action star.

I can't remember if was JD or Daniel and Crystal's idea to pair Isaac with Allison. Either way it made no sense on the show and Crystal didn't waste any time moving on to Darren.

And R113 just because it was Dylan's big break doesn't mean he's obligated to come back for some silly cameo.

Both Dylan and Tyler Hoechlin did a cameo in the final episodes of the show (when Derek carried Stiles out of a building). That was long after they left the show.

I think Tyler Hoechlin is less likely, since he's busy with Superman and Lois. And Ian Bohen (Bohen) joined the show this season. I think both have moved on to better things, even with the pandemic still going on. Didn't one (Colton Haynes?) imply that the set was unprofessional?

If anything I'd say the TW crew had more right to be pissed off with him than the other way round since they'd spent 2 seasons increasing Jaspers role, saying him and Lydia were true love only for him to go "bye guys I'm off to the CW. Arrow will always be a good show!"
