Tennis Australia does not control Australia’s borders - those are the responsibility of the Australian border force which is part of a the Federal Department of Home Affairs. He was then allowed to apply for the correct visa to travel, which he didn’t, and was justifiably stopped at the border on arrival.

It’s really not that complicated - his team fucked up. As did he in refusing to be vaccinated. His choice and now he is experiencing the consequences.

IF he doesn't play, that is a missed opportunity for the Slam record, as other have pointed out.
