I like how Vera Miles pronounces homicidal. HO-mo-SI-Doll.

Meg Tilly could act. Here is the scene where she was harassed at the diner.

Our society could use more frank conversations like those in R2.
"Come on, Looney!"

Meg recently did a watch party of Psycho II on her YouTube page. It was great. Filming it wasn’t the best experience for her, but she has a good time recalling the scenes.

Speaking of psychos, why are you talking to yourself?

From the trailer I can see they utilized more parts of the creepy house - a character in itself.
I don’t remember seeing this.
Thanks OP!

Major issue with Psycho 2 = NO Hitchcock

Speaking of major issues, check out this scene.

How's the shot by shot remake by Soderbergh. Anyone seen it?
by Anonymous | reply 12 | November 27, 2021 2:28 PM |
R12 The biggest waste of film I have ever seen. Totally pointless. It wasn’t even a vanity project.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | November 27, 2021 2:43 PM |
R1. She went to the BTK school of elocution.

P2 was written by Tom Holland (Fright Night, Child's Play).

Vera Miles was about 53 when she filmed this. This was back when 50 something actresses looked like they were in their 70s. Now, it's the opposite.

Wrong. Psycho is quite the masterpiece. The sequels are all dogs.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | May 19, 2022 11:41 PM |
Vera Miles turns 93 in a couple of months. She did one Fantasy Island; two Psychos; three Love Boats; three Murder She Wrotes; and four Hotels.

American Psycho 2 is the real masterpiece.
by Anonymous | reply 19 | May 19, 2022 11:48 PM |
Vera Miles is still alive!
by Anonymous | reply 20 | September 30, 2023 12:45 AM |
R20 yes. She is.
And yes, Psycho II is phenomenal

Dayum OP. A comment so blasphemous it got you redlined.

It's not acknowledged because it's not true.

They bring it up in one of the Scream movies. A film geek says Psycho 2 and the other one says underrated.

PSYCHO 2 is a terrific movie. While I wouldn't go as far as the OP or Quentin Tarantino (if memory serves) in prizing it above the original, I'd say that it's probably the boldest attempt at a sequel that actually succeeds.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | September 30, 2023 3:24 AM |
I prefer the sequel to the original. It still holds up & gives the viewer all that they could ever want.
The 1st one still seems anti-gay in at least 1 place.

Meg Tilly was an interesting actress. She's great in one of the Body Snatchers remakes. (and also all her more famous movies.)

which place r26?
by Anonymous | reply 28 | September 30, 2023 3:52 AM |
I mention the pointless, shot-for-shot remake of the original. Why did they this? Could they improve on it somehow? The only advantage that it's better than a colorized version of the original. I dislike colorization. It's like a moving tinted photograph.

Psycho 2 is an interesting film. It’s great they were actually able to devise a new mystery.
I also like Psycho 3. Hitchcock meets 80s slasher.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | September 30, 2023 6:53 AM |
R26 what the fuck does gay have to do with anything here? Jesus. Grow up.
The film came out in 1960. Maybe take some American History classes.
