Which film doesn't always enter into the conversation when people talk about the greatest comedies of all time?
What's the most under-appreciated comedy film?

"Dick" has so many brilliant throwaway moments, like Pat Nixon snoring loudly away in one scene in the presidential bedroom.

I would also add "The Good Fairy" with Margaret Sullavan--a Prestion Sturges/Ernst Lubitsch comedy no one seems to have heard of but which is one of my absolute favorites.

Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House is fine but it doesn't seem underappreciated, it seems about as appreciated as it should be.
I was really surprised at how bad Vampire's Kiss was, not just Cage's performance but in a general film-making sense. Props had visible stickers on them and they often changed mid-scene, so did the clothes and hair, sometimes it was inaudible, at one point the makeup was so bad I thought they were trying for blackface on Elizabeth Ashley. You could see Maria Conchita Alonzo mouthing Cage's dialogue along with him as he said his lines.

I love this. I have seen The Nice Guys 3 times and I love it. So fun and great performances, especially from Ryan Gosling. I love Vampires Kiss too and the other added suggestions here. Ruthless People is hilarious, especially Danny Devito! Flirting with Disaster has a great performance from MTM especially. Love these choices. I have to say I love Top 5, a Chris Rock comedy. Genius
