You sure showed him!

Who cares? They're all overpaid and not that talented to warrant it either.
by Anonymous | reply 2 | November 26, 2021 11:17 PM |
She sucks no matter how much she is paid. At age 60, bitch is old and tired.
by Anonymous | reply 3 | November 26, 2021 11:20 PM |
I think J-Law is talented. Leo is too. The others...not so much. But I'm sick of these overpaid actors and overpaid athletes. I would think that "Fabulous Life" culture died out after the 2008 recession and even more so with Covid. But I guess not.

How dare someone question Julia Roberts's drawing power! Her greatness must always remain indisputed.
by Anonymous | reply 5 | November 26, 2021 11:27 PM |
Well I never!

R5 besides flies who was drawn to the shit she appeared in for the past 20 years: Ben is Back, The Secret in Their Eyes, Larry Crowne, Charly Wilson's War, Closer. Michael Collins, Mary Reilly, August: Onsage County, Full Frontal, America's Sweethearts, The Mexican, Fireflies in the Garden. . .never saw any of them and never heard of most of them.

[quote] and never heard of most of them.
Well, now you have... and if you ever say you haven't in any other thread from now on, you will be reported!

r7 thinks that we won't notics her omission of blockbuster movie Wonder from her list.
We smell you, Blanche, we do. You pathetic clown.
by Anonymous | reply 9 | November 26, 2021 11:41 PM |
R9 Wonder was I hit? In what gay bar? As big a blockbuster' as Mother's Day and Money Monster?
by Anonymous | reply 10 | November 26, 2021 11:46 PM |
Death to PR people.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | November 26, 2021 11:47 PM |
R8 never heard of them read them on her filmography. Haven't heard anyone mention those films.
by Anonymous | reply 12 | November 26, 2021 11:47 PM |
r10 much bigger than any hit movie of Sandra , J-Law and Meryl in the last 5-6 years.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | November 26, 2021 11:51 PM |
R13 and don't forget Sharon Stone! And Gravity with Bullock was more of a blockbuster than anything Roberts has done in decades!
by Anonymous | reply 14 | November 26, 2021 11:54 PM |
Imagine being the sort of person who gets this worked up about a perceived slight on an anonymous message board.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | November 26, 2021 11:57 PM |
Lawrence sucks
by Anonymous | reply 16 | November 26, 2021 11:58 PM |
R9 not an omission dummy. It was the one hit in a 2-decade pile of junk. It's the exception that proves the rule.
by Anonymous | reply 17 | November 27, 2021 12:07 AM |
[quote]. 25 fucking million dollars.
Oh, dear.
But then rabid defenders of egomaniacal "actresses do tend to be illiterate.
by Anonymous | reply 18 | November 27, 2021 12:16 AM |
OP, did you give them a vicious face-slapping in the other thread? Did you Punch and Delete? Is there an appropriate Nene/RPDR/ Paris is Burning meme or gif for this occasion?
by Anonymous | reply 19 | November 27, 2021 12:41 AM |
Julia was only a supporting mom in Wonder. Wake us up when she leads a new movie blockbuster to merit a $25 million salary.

R13 Momma Mia! and Momma Mia Here We Go Again! and Gravity were huge hits.
by Anonymous | reply 22 | November 27, 2021 7:01 AM |
r22 They didn't happen in the last 5-6 years, you nitwit.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | November 27, 2021 7:13 AM |
And Meryl wasn't in Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again
by Anonymous | reply 24 | November 27, 2021 7:14 AM |
Yes, R23 and 24 she was in Mamma Mia Here We Go Again in 2018. Gravity and Momma Mia were as recent as any of Julia's hits and Streep has had nine Oscar nominations with one win in the last 20 years compared to Julia's 1 win in 2000 and 1 nomination supporting Meryl in August:Osage County.

PS R23 and 24 Nice try, Julia.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | November 27, 2021 7:27 AM |
Julia Roberts is basically Hamburger Helper at this point. Her name may get the nelly bottoms into theaters as well as women her age who were the audience for Stepmom, Sleeping with the Enemy, Runaway Bride, Dying Young and My Best Freind's Wedding in the 90s.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | November 27, 2021 9:28 PM |
OP The people who need to eat shit and die are the people paying those salaries to those three mediocre "talents".
by Anonymous | reply 28 | November 27, 2021 9:41 PM |
Jennifer lawrence cant hold a candle to our pretty woman
by Anonymous | reply 29 | November 27, 2021 10:40 PM |
r26 = Sandra Bullock or Meryl Streep
by Anonymous | reply 30 | November 28, 2021 12:01 AM |
Does Hollywood really think that it's impossible to take an extremely promising unknown, who'll work for the minimum SAG-AFTRA rates, and turn them into a star with the remaining 20+ million spent on PR?
Why would Roberts need to work in a Clooney movie if she's used to getting $25 million a picture?
by Anonymous | reply 31 | November 28, 2021 12:15 AM |
R31 Julia got $25M for Mona Lisa Smile in 2003 and $10M for Eat Pray Love in 2010 so she isn't really used to $25M per picture and for Wonder in 2017 she received $6M.
