World class directors still want to work with Matt Damon. And he wants to work with them. Phillippe is talented but does a lot more paycheck VOD and real indie stuff. He's very lucky his ex-wife out earns him by more than 10-1 because its possible he gets spousal support or got a very generous divorce settlement. I'm sure he still brings in $1 mil per year or more and works consistently but he might've walked away from that divorce with over $20 million. Possibly a LOT more. If he was well invested, a lot of that money was actually his.
