Here is Debbie and Tiffany singing in a variety show and Tiffany is a much better singer than Debbie.

From concerts even from a fews months ago, she sounded just fine. So maybe she was just having some temporary voice issues.

Some people are speculating she was drunk or high. She's been battling the bulge on and off for years now though, so I don't know if its booze bloat or not.

I thought Chaka Khan was fucked up during last week's Verzuz against Stephanie Mills but now I have seen this trainwreck and owe Ms.Khan an apology. This is wretched.

There’s a documentary called “I Think We’re Alone Now”, about these two absolutely batshit weirdos who are obsessed with Tiffany. They’re extremely mentally ill stalkers. It’s blood-curdling.

Holy hell. I saw Tiffany about 5 years ago at one of those 80s festivals at the Queen Mary and she looked bad, but definitely not this bad, although she did have a handler guiding her around the backstage area.

Debbie Gibson was there too (they both performed). She looked great and full of personality during the few minutes I spoke to her. Gibson wore a spangly, form-fitting mini dress with high heels. Tiffany wore a black, calf-length dress with a black shawl.

Gibson had back-up dancers and worked the entire stage. Tiffany just stood at the mic and sang to a backing track. (Not as bad as this though.) The two couldn’t be any more different that day.

I saw her a month ago and she didn't look anything like this. She mostly sang her new rock songs and sounded like someone was stomping on a cat's tail. It was a fitting warmup for Sheena Easton who served up cruise ship realness, including a medley of Sugar Walls/U Got The Look where her gay white backup singer did a Rapper's Delight interlude while Sheena caught her breath. It was one of the more surreal concert experiences I've had.

Contrast her with another 80s songstress, what was her name- Ladonna? It's not all about talent or looks, folks. You've got to have the right people working for you.

Madge became a billionaire;Tiff became... nobody.

Wow! She died on that stage. No, I mean she really died. That wasn't singing, that was just air escaping the body.

Debbie posed for Playboy and didn't even get the cover, just an inside spread (pun intended) of a couple of pages. I wouldn't say she kept her dignity.

The best part of Sheena was her banter between songs. She was your bawdy aunt after a few too many eggnogs at Christmas.

She was on the new kids on the block package tour a few years back with Debbie Gibson and sounded fine. A little heavier but put on a good show.

Debbie is the kind of artist who could've a modest indie comeback with a really strong pop album, but the ability to produce such a thing seems beyond her.

Debbie's voice has been shot for a while now. At least a decade. She could sing well in the 80s and 90s though.

Tiffany was always the better vocalist of the two though. Not sure what her problem was at the embarassing performance she gave the other day. She's one of those minority of artists that sounded just as good live than on their albums.

I'm surprised to see that she has released thirteen albums, had two number ones and two Top 10 hits. I always thought that she only had one hit and then, vanished into thin air. Obviously, someone is interested in her music and thirty years ago, she was very successful for a hot minute.

The sad thing is that she used to have a nice voice (it's evident that she is VERY drunk in the video posted by the OP) and, just like many other singers who became stars in the 80s, she was literally erased when Grunge became popular in the early 90s.

Anyway, we cannot say "how the mighty have fallen", but I think that "she went from the bottom to rock bottom" would be rather appropriate in this case.

Only the big A-List 80s stars like Madonna and Whitney survived into the 90s. Everybody else's career was over as soon as Smells Like Teen Spirit came out. It happened overnight.

That's a rather simplistic overview. It leaves out the transition from New Jack Swing to the fusion of Hip Hop and R&B. Even Cher tried to get on the R&B bandwagon by the mid 1990s.

Yes, New Jack Swing played a role too but Grunge and Nirvana really ended the 80s dance pop and hair metal. Thank god hair metal finally went extinct!
