The Truth Behind William Tyrrell's Disappearance May Soon Be Revealed
Over seven years and tens of millions of tax dollars later, Australia's "Lindy-Chamberlain-in-reverse" may not get away with it after all. I'll give her one thing: FFC (Female Foster Carer) kept her name out of the papers! Even I didn't manage that.
In September of 2014, 3-year-old William Tyrrell went missing in NE NSW (four or five hour drive north of Sydney). The story was huge Down Under. He was a foster child, and the affluent foster mother (due to the laws) enjoyed anonymity, along with her husband and William's sister (who they also fostered). This information wouldn't have been known to the public until some time later. The public would only know that William was missing and the identity of the "parents" couldn't be revealed for legal reasons. The case has gone through three different lead investigators. The foster parents were ruled out twice. The second investigator (the darling Gary Jubelin) was infamously convicted of illegal conduct (which he stands by to this day). Multiple retired community members were accused of being paedophiles responsible for William's disappearance, including one neighbour who volunteered his time to help with the initial search! The local washing machine mechanic was even arrested and had his life ruined! The country town of Kendall was pretty much destroyed. And the biological parents (no angels themselves, both bogans with drug/legal issues) had to watch this all happen from a distance without any ability to help with the search, knowing that William and his sister were taken away from them for their "protection."
Things took a turn a week ago when we learned authorities confiscated the dead foster maternal grandmother's vehicle. They've started digging at her old house as well (look it up Tasteful Friends! 48 Benaroon Dr, Kendall, NSW). And, on top of it all, FFC has just been charged with assault against a child (not related to the deceased William). The wheels of justice have begun turning slowly ... forward, instead of in reverse!
Anyway, FFC, your time may be up. (I'll give you some hints: her first name is shared with an international box-office star and her surname is that of a flower ... nice touch!). But, you had a good run. Cancer ended up getting me ten years after the "SBTC or paedophiles got my girl". Karma's a bitch!
Btw, those are Nanna's slippers in the photo right before little Willy vanished.

The two areas are behind the house below the verandah, as well as a creek near the corner of Cobb and Co Road just down Batar Creek Road from Benaroon Drive. Yesterday, a black piece of blue fabric was found in the latter. An 8 cm x 8 cm piece of faded blue fabric and several pieces of red string were found there on Friday.
Rainfall is heavy still.
The "falling from the balcony" theory is interesting, as it wouldn't require a murder weapon or intent, but could lay out a case for concealing a crime, hiding a body, etc. If William is able to speak from the dead from Nana's Mazda, that would be particularly damning.
FFC and MFC (Male Foster Carer) were served court attendance notices and charged on 17 November for "common assault of a child" (in relation to one of their existing children). They are due to appear in Hornsby Local Court tomorrow. It's gonna be a shit-show over there.

Dig continued today in pouring rain near the corner of Cobb and Co Road and Batar Creek Road.
During the walkthrough six days after William Tyrrell disappeared, FFC shared she went to this area before returning to Benaroon Drive and placing the 000 call.

Well her name isn't Glenn Rose

[quote]Do you know the foster mother OP?
No. But, I'm familiar with her lies/deception.
(Namely, the three imagined cars on Benaroon Drive that morning, and the omitted mention of the drive to the riding school before the 000 call in just about every single one of her accounts, amongst others.).

so should they be digging up the riding school?

I believe the dig in Nov/Dec was in that area.
The latest is that foster dad lied to authorities about an important detail before that very dig.

So, theory is kid falls off balcony and dies then body buried/hidden and foster parents claim he went missing so they won't get into trouble?

[quote]So, theory is kid falls off balcony and dies then body buried/hidden and foster parents claim he went missing so they won't get into trouble?
Yes, basically (some have other theories like she accidentally killed him, but the balcony fall and the need to protect her reputation and custody of her daughter, sanctity of marriage, etc, are the most simple explanations). As ludicrous as it sounds, the chances of a stranger kidnapping WT are even more astronomical (the trip up to Nanna's was very last minute; no one knew about it but Nanna; WT disappeared within 12 hours of their arrival; it was a small neighbourhood; it was a school day for Kendall; the washing machine man had an alibi; the senile neighbour across the street had an alibi; there was no paedophile ring that could have "sprung into action" in these circumstances; the man who thought he saw a woman drive WT down his road actually saw another woman driving a kid in a Spider-man suit that morning).
When it all comes down to it, the foster mother is the most suspicious figure and somehow managed to fly under the police radar with the first two lead investigators. She made up this story of three cars (only one of which is backed up by another person--her foster daughter who was only a few years older than WT at the time) which she miraculously recalled the night of WT's disappearance (or the next night or the night after that, depending on which story she's telling). And there's the whole fact that she drove down to the riding school before she called 000, and failed to mention that to the operator, 60 Minutes, NSW police in the sit-down interview, various podcasts, etc. I don't know how she did it, but the woman (and her husband) got a free pass at every single turn (well, up until late last year).

I'll also add that the two imagined cars parked on Benaroon Drive were facing in the direction away from the main road out. Not a particularly smart move if you're going to kidnap a child.
Also, the foster mom says she saw the two parked cards twice, once when she woke up and went out on the balcony (about ten hours after they arrived the previous night) and once when she was playing with the kids around 9 AM. The windows were rolled down and nobody was in them (according to her), yet, somehow, no one saw the drivers/passengers walking in the neighbourhood and no one else saw the cars. Huge red flags.
I don't know what happened. All I know is that her stories were so fanciful and inconsistent embellished by the cloak of anonymity offered to her because of some archaic foster car law; she was also given major a major benefit of the doubt by the media (like that awful Lia Harris) and that stupid "expert"/charlatan Xanthe Mallett. And, when foster mom could have went public to bring more visibility to finding WT, she didn't (and neither did foster dad).
Hopefully, R12, this time will be different.

This always smelled fishy but the Australian media have been very well behaved with missing children cases since the Lindy Chamberlain debacle which you really had to live through to believe just how horrid the media and general public were.

Fair point, R19.
The wheels of justice spin slowly, in this case.
Just an update:
[quote]William Tyrrell’s foster parents will front court for a three day hearing into child assault allegations in [16, 17 and 18, January, 2023] ... In November 2021 the couple were charged with assaulting a child who is not William and cannot be identified for legal reasons.
[quote]The man pleaded not guilty to an additional count of intimidation, while the woman pleaded not guilty to a further count of common assault and two counts of intimidation.
[quote]The woman’s application to have her charges thrown out on mental health grounds will be heard on June 30.
Fuck me if she's successful with getting that app thrown out.

Foster mom was unsuccessful to get out of her charges based on mental health (thankfully).
They started using her initials ... (finally) ...

So, foster mom was found not guilty on charges of giving false info in the abuse matter.
How well connected is this woman? What is in all this for the PR firm Insight who seems to be doing all of her bidding?
Any Aussie DLers keeping up on this?
