I read that article and I kept thinking about Howard Stern of the 80s and 90s, and how gay men were Stern’s enemy. There was also a 1980s documentary that someone posted on the Howard Stern subreddit where an AIDS rights group protested Stern outside NBC (when he was there) about Stern claiming you could catch AIDS just by being in the same room with a gay man.
