I think Jai came out as bi. Tom was hawking for Pier One. Carson became a walker for UES dowagers.
WHET the Original Queer Eye Guys?

Why are there no responses to this. Loved the show. Jai bisexual, hmm.
Tom was my favorite.

I loved when MadTV spoofed their roles. Jai was labeled "Culture Expert" in quotes, and even he had to say "Yeah, I'm just a stripper with a Celine Dion album."

[quote] Jai came out as bi
The only thing bisexual about Jai was when he hired rent boys.

They went through conversion therapy and became straight. We don’t talk about them anymore.

Lord, the bi troll is back.

Jai had a NY Theatre (Bway, off-Bway) career prior to Queer Eye. He likely hoped Queer Eye would lead to more TV but it hasn't.
Last time I noticed, he was hosting some awful reality show about pets.

Tom is probably the most successful.

R6 I’ve always found it interesting how he has never had a serious relationship (as far as I know).

What does Thom do now? I would have guessed Ted as the most successful with all of his Food Network hosting gigs.

Weren’t they all in the Gay themed Taylor Swift video a few years back?
by Anonymous | reply 10 | July 5, 2022 1:54 PM |
Don’t forget Ted Allen. He’s been hosting Chopped for what seems like an eternity.

Kyan was the only one who could pass for straight.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | July 5, 2022 2:30 PM |
Kyan's Wiki is a mess. What is he up to these days? Where does he live?
by Anonymous | reply 15 | July 5, 2022 2:31 PM |
I DETESTED the original Queer Eyes. It was the epitome of a minstrel show.
Look! Gays only know about fashion and flowers!
by Anonymous | reply 16 | July 5, 2022 2:49 PM |
One of them was a florist? When I took that test in high school for careers, it came back with the careers for me being florist or undertaker. I think those tests were geared to expose the Gays.

Was Nate Berks one of them?
by Anonymous | reply 19 | July 5, 2022 2:57 PM |
R19, no
by Anonymous | reply 20 | July 5, 2022 3:26 PM |
Kyan at least was a big cokehead
by Anonymous | reply 21 | July 5, 2022 3:26 PM |
I absolutely loved the original "Queer Eye for the Straight Guy".

And yet, you can't spell his name properly.
by Anonymous | reply 23 | July 5, 2022 3:41 PM |
I won't acknowledge anyone who spells his name "Thom".
by Anonymous | reply 24 | July 5, 2022 4:00 PM |
R24 It's as pretentious as spelling "Will" with one L.
by Anonymous | reply 25 | July 5, 2022 4:28 PM |
I liked Thom, he was husky.

I went to Egypt with Kyan, and a group of other New Age people, back in 2008. He was mostly aloof, presenting himself as if on a journey to find himself.
Which he was.

It’s weird to me that Kyan “retired” from television - going on Rachel Ray where he was kind of a regular to make an official announcement just seemed odd to me. Ah well, whatever.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | July 5, 2022 4:57 PM |
Kyan "retired" in the same way a stack of Chinet plates is "retired" after the gospel brunch.
by Anonymous | reply 29 | July 5, 2022 4:58 PM |
retired = unable to find TV roles.
by Anonymous | reply 30 | July 5, 2022 4:59 PM |
I guess I still stand a chance with Jai then, OP.
