Apparently this is the first show to focus on women in their 50s….
SATC writer says having a show about middle-aged women and their 'aging lady bodies' is revolutionary

It's not revolutionarily, it's embarrassing seeing middle-aged women trying to act like they're in their 20s.

What won't they think up next!!

So it's the Golden Girls without the charm.

Seeing 3 old hags with too much botox and fillers is not revolutionary, it's gross.

Golden Girls.

based on the trailer it seems like the costume designer intentionally tried to *cover up* those aging lady bodies.

These women all have work to the nth degree. There is nothing revolutionary here.

If one of them farts, repeatedly, over breakfast at the diner, which must be oatmeal, I'll buy it.

So Carrie can get Depends but not a haircut?

For more bad writing and old ladies, feel free to watch Hocus Pocus 2.

R5, it will be more like Whorin' Hags.
by Anonymous | reply 11 | November 14, 2021 11:23 PM |
We have all the 50-something whorin' hags we can handle from the Housewives Hags don't we?
Those stupid cows are all in their 50's, nipped and tucked to a fare thee well and running around like idiots all the time. I don't see how these tired old SATC hags are necessary.

We're going to have to hear about their dry, menopausal pussies, right?
by Anonymous | reply 13 | November 14, 2021 11:57 PM |
Maybe Charlotte could reroute some of her fillers from her face to her hoo haw.
by Anonymous | reply 14 | November 14, 2021 11:58 PM |
Charlotte's face is tragic.

SATC writer says having a show about middle-aged women and their 'aging lady bodies' is exhausting.

Everything is exhausting.

Has anyone approached Madonna to play the refreshed and reconstructed Samantha after the plane accident?
by Anonymous | reply 18 | November 15, 2021 1:39 AM |
These women are in the mid to late 50s. Unless the life span for women in this country has increased to 110s, they're not middle-aged.

Brave.

We’d like to take this up with the manager, please.

Or they could just skip the reconstructed part and still approach Madonna.

Shit on it all you want, it really does provide a lot of potential stories because they are going there. Carrie had a back problem so bad she couldn't walk stairs (then had surgery and peed the bed while her friend and boss were fingering in her kitchen), Miranda went gray and resisted pushing from Charlotte to go back to red, Miranda's friend is struggling with not being able to get pregnant through IVF, etc.
Anyone with a body over 40 knows problems start happening. The show is using that instead of pretending these women are in their 20s. Good for them.

I blame Cynthia Nixon and that new HBO book confirms it. She’s a politician through and through, listening to the gripes of delusional teenagers online and not realizing that most adults are rolling their eyes.
