I also wondered if Chrissie Hynde's band was named "Pretenders" or "The Pretenders." For the first two albums it was "Pretenders." She added a "The" for the next couple of albums. But then it was back to "Pretenders" for the album "Packed." And back and forth ever since? Which is correct? Enquiring minds want to know!

Is it "Dah-tuh" or "Day-tuh"?

by Anonymousreply 23November 9, 2021 1:56 AM

The latter, duh.

by Anonymousreply 24November 9, 2021 2:02 AM

No matter what they say at the top of the page, they're wrong. It's always been Data Lounge.

These are not the people who started it.

by Anonymousreply 25November 9, 2021 2:57 AM

Depends on if you are British as in "I am going to the hospital" vs. "I am going to hospital".
