Nobody Is DEAD To Me!

We haven't had a good major celebrity death in weeks, it's so boring. There are so many of them, you would think they would happen more often. Hopefully, I've jinxed somebody.

by Anonymousreply 49June 17, 2022 2:40 AM

Colin Powell? I think that's the most recent.

by Anonymousreply 1November 7, 2021 8:17 PM

Peter Scolari

by Anonymousreply 2November 7, 2021 8:17 PM

I thought this was going to a thread about the unidentified victim at Astroworld.

by Anonymousreply 3November 7, 2021 8:19 PM

What happened at the Jetsons?

by Anonymousreply 4November 7, 2021 8:19 PM

Winter is coming. There will be plenty during the holidays and post-holidays.

by Anonymousreply 5November 7, 2021 8:22 PM

The Queen will be dead in a few months. DL will literally explode then.

by Anonymousreply 6November 7, 2021 8:23 PM

Buck up, OP. Betty White can't live forever.

by Anonymousreply 7November 7, 2021 8:23 PM

Peter Scolari, Gunther from Friends and Oh Mighty Isis were the last celebrity trifecta.

by Anonymousreply 8November 7, 2021 8:23 PM

I sense Babs Walters time is about up.

by Anonymousreply 9November 7, 2021 8:27 PM

Lionel Blair died on Thursday 4th of November, we are still in mourning in the UK.

R6 All Meghan has to do is express her and Harry's condolences and the DL will explode. I hope they both attend the funeral, and look fabulous.

by Anonymousreply 11November 7, 2021 8:29 PM

Kristy Swanson?

by Anonymousreply 12November 7, 2021 8:30 PM

R10 what about National Treasure, Sir David Attenborough? He probably got Covid from Boris.

by Anonymousreply 13November 7, 2021 8:30 PM

[quote] Lionel Blair died on Thursday 4th of November,

Aww that’s a shame.

He was great in The Exorcist.

by Anonymousreply 14November 7, 2021 8:31 PM

I love how she keeps saying "95 year old National Treasyah, Suh David Attenborough" while Boris looks guilty and tries to think of a way to weasel out of it.

I think we will have a few big ones to close out the year. Then its Royal Death Watch 2022.

by Anonymousreply 19November 7, 2021 8:42 PM

Patience, patience.

by Anonymousreply 20November 7, 2021 8:42 PM

R11 Meghan won't be allowed anywhere near my coffin.

by Anonymousreply 21November 7, 2021 8:44 PM

Dies anybody want to guess what the next ground-breaking celeb death is going to be?

They don't have to be ill or a meth addict.

by Anonymousreply 22November 7, 2021 8:48 PM

I don't like guessing too much because then you get into a comfort zone of sorts and then get someone out of the blue - the person(s) you least expect. That said, I'm still sad about Charlie Watts. Makes me think a few of these rock 'n rollers are going to start dropping. Except for Jagger. He'll live to 120.

by Anonymousreply 23November 7, 2021 8:54 PM

R6 Let's don't use the word "literally," dear.

by Anonymousreply 24November 7, 2021 8:57 PM

It's Babs, I'm sure of it!

by Anonymousreply 25November 7, 2021 9:24 PM

It's you, OP. C'mon, don't be shy...

by Anonymousreply 26November 7, 2021 9:28 PM

No one is allowed to die anymore. They are constantly inventing new drugs to keep people alive another 5 years. Big money for doctors, insurance companies and retirement homes.

Have we even had a startling young celebrity death this year? I can't remember one since Amy Winehouse - it's been a long time.

by Anonymousreply 46November 19, 2021 2:11 AM

R46 The last really famous member of 'The 27 Club' was Anton Yelchin in 2016.

Unless you count Lisa Marie Presley's son Benjamin Keough in 2020.

We're in another lull lately - just a few minor TV stars. No one BIG has died in a long time.

by Anonymousreply 48June 16, 2022 9:13 PM

You'd think that with the number of famous people worldwide, that there would be a notable death every day - but we've gone weeks without one.
