But let’s say the published pages are true. We don’t know the age Ashley was, so that’s one factor (the assumption would be that she was a toddler who couldn’t clean herself adequately). Parents take showers with kids often for expediency, even more so in the 1980s than today I would imagine. It’s considered more acceptable when the sexes aren’t mixed. It’s considered less acceptable when they are, but especially today.

The source of the pages is sketchy at best. Ashley's diary was stolen, but the pages in question haven't been verified as being from the diary. They don't look right to me, honestly, especially the constant misspelling of "young" as "yung," but who knows.

The arrest of Danchenko by the Trump-appointed counsel happened just before the pages were re-leaked, which to me doesn't seem like a coincidence. The media never wanted to believe the dossier and now we're supposed to believe that everything that was confirmed in it suddenly is no longer confirmed, because Trump's pal Durham says Danchenko lied about who he discussed the dossier with? No, sorry.
