Controversy erupts as Giselle lip syncs the N-word
Social media is calling for Giselle’s head as video is released of her mouthing the N-word in a song.
What should she have done in this situation? When the word came up, was she supposed to close and not move her mouth? That would break the flow and take away from the performance.

Korea media is asking “Why put the word in the song at all if you don’t want people singing it? Fans are going to be singing your songs. You don’t want fans singing your songs?”

She should have said faggot. Netflix would have paid her $60 million.

I’m sure 99% black people don’t know who this bitch is and the outrage is from others.

R4 Maybe it’s black music being made for black people and black culture and you’re choosing to listen to it.

When I hear the name Giselle, I think of Gisele Bundchen. I think her grandfather was a Nazi.

Uh, no. The majority consumer of rap and hip hop are whites.

It's unaccomplished children from the West who are complaining. It's their imperial attitude. They want to feel some control over people on the other side of the planet. Desperate for idols' attention.
It's pathetic.

Miserable, low-IQ children having a tantrum about someone smarter, accomplished, and beautiful. What's new.

Black people who have no right to complain when they include a slur. Once, black people NEVER used that word in front of white folks, for this very reason It’s shameful and ignorant and taking part in your own degradation. That girl isn’t the problem.

R20 Whatever. Fag is used on this board amongst gay men but yall will cry homophobe when Tyler the Creator says it in hit lyrics.
I’m not interested in the hypocrisies because you guys have race issues.

This issue aside for a moment, whenever I've accidentally stumbled into the k-pop side of Twitter, I have to say, their fans can sound pretty deranged. I think a lot of it is actually fighting between different factions of fans over whose k-pop idol/s are the purest ("yours engages in cultural appropriation!" etc).
Actually, I don't think it's any more deranged than any other teen fan group. My friend works in media and their building got death threats from psycho One Direction fans.

Her great-grandmother was Black. She is a catwalking emblem of racial harmony.

American children are so fucking entitled. Not one sound came out of her mouth: she was lip syncing, not "singing along" to the sound. And still they demanded an apology: for the silent movement of her lips to a song. Americans are fucking insane.

This ‘You guys’ happens to be black also, and i think it’s ridiculous for black people to yell ‘nigger’ constantly while condemning a girl for singing along to a song.

She wasn't even singing - she was silently mouthing along to the words of the song. Like we all do when cooking, cleaning, driving, etc. It's a thing. Jesus.
