The show Joy and Whoopi both berating her. She talks about how she was suffering post partum at the time of Joy's outburst and that she vomited and had an anxiety attack during the commercial.

Says she didn't want to take the job since she had a similar one at Fox but her father believed in the show and felt she should do it to get the republican point of view across. Slavery like the holocaust has very dark aspects to it and, yes, I think both should be introduced to children at appropriate ages when they can maturely handle the subject matter.

General aspects rather than the full realities can be handled at younger ages in elementary school. Even the blaming and politics needs an appropriate age to discuss. If a child is interested in more than they can seek out that information. I did that about apartheid, the US slavery aftermath and the Holocaust. I searched my parents' and neighbors' libraries and went to the public library in the dinosaur years and got books specific to the topics and did deep dives. I did that about 10. While I was babysitting at 11, I came across our neighbor's Rise and Fall of the Third Reich. That got me hooked. We won't discuss the Playboy collection I "accidentally" came across at another babysitting household.
