This is actually a real problem for me, as I am by nature quite a solitary lazy person who prefers passive activities like reading or watching tv or daydreaming, but the adult world of work and leisure requires one to have active and social pastimes.

Tbh I’m pretty sure I’ve tanked more than a few jobs and relationships in the past, because I’m too happy and comfortable not doing much of anything with my time. People assume that I must be unmotivated at work or a boring stupid person because I don’t have hobbies, which is untrue.

It wasn’t such an issue when I was a kid/teen because my parents usually forced me out of the house or left me places where I had to do things or otherwise get in trouble, but as a 30 year old I just feel too jaded and tired to want to. I just want to be self-employed so I don’t have to worry about answering to people over this anymore😣🙏
