I hate Spacey, but I've known for years that Rapp has always wanted the spotlight on him.

Rapp works a lot, but it looks like very minor projects (TV one-offs, short films). The most recent, significant credit on IMDB is from the movie version of RENT from 2005. Coincidentally, he just turned 50 this past Tuesday.
