Tailored suit, interesting shirt and tie and stylish accessories, belt, watch, shoes and no other jewelry except a wedding ring. Men's high fashion is fun but IRL no man is hot if it looks like they're trying too hard. Peacocks are a boner killer.

I happen to like cologne on men but I understand most don't. I also like the musky, spicy oils that a lot of men wear. When I'm on the subway I always want to like their necks. Delicious!

I worked as a stylist to put myself through graduate school. Agree with a few points above:

- no to tats

- no to ripped denim; edgy but ultimately trade trashy

- well-tailored suit

- classic fabrics: wool, cotton, cashmere, silk, alpaca

- casual: denim that fits (in the examples above, notice all the wrinkly pants on the models....does them and their physiques a disservice)

- great looks can be obtained on a budget with discernment: fit and classic fabrics with eclectic add ons

I love the way many native Italian men dress. It's embedded in the culture: the confidence, the sexy swagger, the style. It's also not restricted to young men. The sexiest seniors I've ever seen were in Florence, Rome, and elsewhere.
