Immigration Advocates Are "Done" With Biden

Good. Since they're "done" with Biden, Biden should build the wall! Biden, if you do I promise I would not only vote for you in 2024, but I would campaign for you.

Who cares, OP? Those complainers don’t vote.

Forget about Trump. Just do what protects the American people. Trump is irrelevant.

Do some research on your own sweetie.
Same story more or less is being covered by all sorts news media.
Biden and democrats are attempting to come up with something that basically is amnesty for illegal aliens in everything but name only. Thing is they know doing some or all of what they want will become a huge club to beat them about with not just in 2022 but likely 2024 as well.

Them's the breaks.
by Anonymous | reply 10 | October 17, 2021 3:48 AM |
What exactly do they want? I get quicker paths to citizenship for those here. I get the program that will keep people who have grown up here and technically weren't able to gain citizenship or foolishly didn't. Is that the Dreamers' Program or something like that. Ok those sound good. What else? What about automatically granting citizenship for anyone who serves in the military? That's a good one. Next?
But do they want to open border for anyone who wants to come? That's not going to happen. What country does that?
by Anonymous | reply 11 | October 17, 2021 6:05 AM |
What you have atm is an American immigration system (if you could call it that) run and driven largely by human smugglers world over. This and or anyone who decides to pick themselves up and move to USA via crossing southern border.
Word around the world (and why summglers make so much money) is that once on US soil "immigrants" likely will not face deportation. In fact often are welcomed like conquering heroes.
Minor children regardless of immigration status receive benefits that would never happen in their native countries. Everything from free public education, food stamps, and host of other benefits. Increasingly illegal adults are also getting in on the act. There isn't any shame in it anymore as NY Times and other liberal media simply refer to these people as "immigrants".
You look at 2020 census and it's no wonder Hispanic/Latino and Asian populations are growing, Look who is coming across border and or being smuggled into USA.
Meanwhile those from Europe who either cannot afford and or qualify for legal immigration, well can't, not legally anyway, so they remain on that side of ocean.
Last time Congress did immigration reform it offered amnesty to tons of illegal aliens with understanding that would be end of things, and it wouldn't happen again. After 9/11/01 and it came to light that thirty some odd years after so called "immigration reform" illegals and or visa overstays had nothing to fear.
So now we're back to square one. Thanks to nearly or over forty years of not controlling illegal immigration, and or democrats simply allowing masses in via humanitarian parole things are just as bad or worse than 1980's. Oh and that last bit (humanitarian parole) has simply become democrats way to do an end run around legal immigration.

Biden is talking out of both sides of his mouth on this issue. Recent INS "guidelines" are a joke, but again Biden knows the issue is a hot, and one that could cause plenty of trouble for his party.
Problem democrats face in crafting any sort of Amnesty II bill or scheme is where do they draw the line (if any). Do you say "you, "you", but not *YOU*. Meaning those who arrived say fifteen years ago can stay, the rest have to go? Yeah that's going to really work for their base.
by Anonymous | reply 13 | October 17, 2021 7:28 AM |
People might be willing to embrace something for one million or so "dreamers" if that list were culled, cut and dry. But you know democrats won't do that either. Tons of families or individuals have gotten themselves and or at least children on US soil precisely to take advantage of immigration leniency towards that demographic.
Case in point:

Immigration Advocates should be "Done" with the church, the cultural norms and US foreign policy that perpetuate and prolong the need for people to leave their countries of origin.

So? It's his thread. If he wants to participate in the discussion why do you have a problem with that?

Dirty little secret is democrats/liberals don't want any sort of real immigration "reform" say to a point bases system that brings more of the best and brightest to USA. Especially if many of those persons come from Europe.
Democrats and liberals are perfectly happy with tons of tan and darker poor persons landing on US shores. They don't pose an immediate threat to the middle classes and certainly not better off. OTOH hordes of skilled and or highly educated persons would, especially if they came here young enough (say under age 45) that they could start working at once and have long careers.
Service workers, domestic service, agricultural, low or lowest tiers of healthcare.., yes that's ok. But not people with four year and or post graduate degrees, or those from professional classes/backgrounds.
Even actors and performing artists don't want the competition, especially from Great Britain.

So, what of it?
Same could be said of various thread started about Instahoes and other so called "hot men" that OPs haven't a snowball's chances in Hell of ever meeting. Ditto with legions of "WEHT" or "WHET" various porn actors.
Majority of times those posts follow same tired format.
"Look what I found on Instagram"... Then several "yum", "yummy" "ohhh", and so forth posts by OP

We can't let EVERYONE in. This country is already overpopulated and running out of resources. If they are good looking, healthy, and can pass an IQ test with an IQ of 110, let them in I say. If they can't beat average intelligence of 100, what use do we have for them?

You both(?) are wrong. We could solve this problem overnight if we wanted. HOLD THE PEOPLE WHO EMPLOY THEM RESPONSIBLE. If there were no jobs and no opportunity here, the wouldn't come. How 'bout this: EMPLOY someone who is not a citizen or green card holder, first offense: $!00,000 fine and a year in prison. Second offense: $1M fine and a decade in prison. Third offense: Complete asset forfeiture and life imprisonment with no chance for parole. I don't know who's going to pick the lettuce, wash the cars, raise the children and every other back-breaking job that immigrants take, but I'm even more sick of the conservatard line of bullshit that blames Democrats for the problems Republicans have created. There is a reason we don't have immigration reform, and it's not because the Democrats aren't willing to negotiate.

No, neither posters or anyone else is "wrong".
Democrats and liberals are just as loathe to cut off source of cheap labor found in illegal aliens.
This came out during pandemic when solid democrat/liberal/progressive states and cities found themselves faced with huge populations of illegals, many who had been working for one or more decades, unable to get federal unemployment benefits.
Story after personal story was the same; New York, LA, SF, Boston, all over New Jersey, etc... Scores of nannies, maids, launderesses, home help aids, retail workers, baristas, construction workers, shampoo girls, manicurists, etc.. all illegal aliens.
Miss Anne isn't just some southern woman who hires illegals to clean her home, care for her children, care for aged parents, etc.. But plenty of her sisters in the north or out west do exactly same thing, and their politics skew democrat/liberal.
New York, California, and New Jersey at least came up with "undocumented workers" funds. That is state taxpayer money given to illegals who were excluded from federal pandemic benefits due to immigration status. But even there they ran into problems. It would require asking employers to go on record they hired illegal aliens. Something obviously even in liberal left New York few were willing to do. So work arounds were created that basically allowed illegals to "self-certify" their status.
In NYS average award was for full amount of $15k.
You're not telling anyone things they don't know; but again going after those who hire illegal aliens means letting chips fall where they may. Democrats and liberals are happy to see republican owned businesses or states get what they think is coming to them, but when it comes to New York, CA, NJ and some other places you'll hear a different story.

Tate's bakery out on Long Island is but a case in point. They've hired illegal aliens for decades, and apparently openly without shame. So far no one at INS has come calling.
No, in fact things are rather the opposite, illegal workers want their "rights"
You see this all over Long Island including places like the Hamptons. It is illegals who staff bars, restaurants, catered events, do landscaping/gardening, provide child and aged care etc.....
The public schools in the Hamptons in many towns or villages are largely filled with Latino/Hispanic kids.

A few years ago Tom Cat bakery in NYC was raided and faced action for hiring illegal aliens. To a one every liberal, democrat, progressive institution, business or individual turned on them for doing what was legally required of them.

Those immigration advocates are right. Biden's open border policy isn't enough. We should be sending private planes to pick up anyone who wants to come here, with free limo service to and from the plane.

It's no laughing matter. These people break laws to get themselves into USA, invade NYC and have the audacity to speak about their *rights*
Far as one is concerned only right they have is on a bus or plane being sent back to where they came from
