Normalising mass death

"The government has abandoned all pretence at public health measures to control Covid. It’s a national scandal." The death rate in the UK is now equivalent to 40,000 people a year due to Covid alone! Expect this to become a global trend, as lockdowns don't work for capitalism or modern populations of fragile mental health.

Have you had it? Do you know anyone who's had it?

"Mass death" is not being "normalized", except in the inflamed minds of the writer and The Gaudrian editor. Medical science and government are doing all that they know how to lessen Covid's impact. This will change, as more knowledge is gained about the behavior of Covid. The best preventative against Covid at present is wearing a mask in enclosed or crowded venues. That's how I've survived 20 months unvaccinated.

Americans have outdone Britons:

Deaths per million, UK: 2,062.22

Deaths per million, US: 2,187.61

That's so cute how you think that a mask alone has protected you. I'd say it's one part mask and one part luck.
