Cantaloupe for me, followed by honeydew. No special means of preparing them, though I do like a little bit of vanilla ice cream with cantaloupe every now and then.

Sure, OP - take one watermelon, a bottle of vodka and a syringe.
Inject the contents of the bottle of vodka into the watermelon using the syringe.
Refrigerate until chilled, then eat.
Perfect for getting that summer bbq off with a bang!

I'm probably in a very small minority. I hate melons. I think it's their "perfumey" nature. And I burp away later and still taste it.
