Will Poulter cast as Adam Warlock for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3

Ever since I first saw him in Voyage of the Dawn Treader, I thought his big break would be playing Judy Garland. Looks, and same nervous energy.

That is very, very, very disappointing news. Adam Warlock is meant to represent the perfect man. Will Poulter is a fugly troll who can't act for shit. It's ridiculous he was even considered for the part, let alone cast.

I never would have suspected Chris Pratt could play Star-Lord, and that turned out really well, so while my initial impression is negative, I’ll keep an open mind for the movie.

He's a good actor, and statistically speaking we must be approaching a point were every relatively noteworthy actor has already been in or is already cast to be in a Marvel or DC movie so options must be getting limited.

The point is, when it comes to characters who aren't human, anyone can play them because they'll be wearing makeup anyway.

British have a monopoly in casting. They no longer look for American actors anymore. There is no chance in hell this actor got the role based on talent, fame, or looks.

He was pretty good in the rather unsettling movie The Little Stranger.
