Ethan Hawke's new horror movie "The Black Phone"
I saw the trailer for this movie during Sunday's episode of The Walking Dead, and it looks GOOD!
I have a feeling this movie is going to be a hit.
It's everything you want in a horror movie.
I wish I could post a trailer, but it hasn't come out yet on YouTube.
Apparently, it has already been screened for some audiences. Has anyone here seen it?

This movie already has a lot of buzz, and it doesn't even come out until February 2022.

I thought the trailer was very good, too, and yes not available anywhere yet but AMC. But imdb users already gave it a 8.9 or 9.2, depending on when you check the site. That is so idiotic. But movie looks great...fucking scary....like a mashup of It, Nightmare on Elm Street, and M.

David Mitchell’s “Slade House” sort of has that theme

The director is the guy who did SINISTER with Hawke.

I can't believe that Ethan Hawke is having such a huge career resurgence.
He has projects lined up into 2022 and beyond.
In 2021 alone, he has three movies down!

Has the movie come out in theaters yet?
I love that Ethan is becoming a new "king" of horror.

Not good news. A purely by the numbers horror movie. Some of it is laughably contrived.

Just saw it. One of the better things I've watched lately.

Just watched this last night. Complete piece of shit thatasks far more questions than it feels like answeing. And 2 jump scares does not a horror movie make.
