He made several movies that bombed such as Great Balls of Fire and Everybody’s All American . He was known as terrible womanizer and coke head. He got a lot of sympathy for being Meg Ryan’s cuckold but he was an asshole. She got terrible press for being a cheater and then got terrible work done on her face. He is still a working actor so he’s not doing so bad.

Dennis Quaid was VERY handsome in Far From Heaven and did a great acting job. I thought he was very hot in Postcards from the Edge, The Parent Trap (1998) and Frequency.

Their son, who stars on The Boys, doesn't really look like either of them. He favors a young Tom Hanks, to me.

Hmmm. he was born 1992 and Sleepless was released in 1993. But, Hanks and Ryan did Joe Versus the Volcano in 1990, so there could've been an affair during that time.

I’d forgotten about the Big Easy, he was sex on a stick in that one. No, my favorite role for him was in The Right Stuff. Hot Shot. He was perfect in that.
