How did he win an Oscar? Why does he always look and sound sedated?
Rami Malek

I honestly think in some crazy Academy way they imagined they gave that Oscar to Freddie Mercury, via Rami Malek.

Curse of the mummy perhaps?

They awarded that ugly fucker for a performance even worse than Sandy Bullock’s winning turn and they didn’t even nominate me that year!

Check out Mr. Robot on Netflix. Was perfect for that roll.

He makes my skin crawl.
Creepy bug eyed mutant fuck.

He is so creepy looking. Considering how handsome Freddie was it makes me just stare in bewilderment.
R1, I think that absolutely was a big consideration.

R5 if you believe the rumors, Jake Gyllenhaal is wrapping himself around Rami's skin.
by Anonymous | reply 7 | October 6, 2021 8:10 PM |
Not R5, but tell me more, R7!!

Great in Mr Robot. Terrible as Freddie Mercury.

You didn't like my thread, yesterday, OP? Sheesh!

R10 I didn’t see your thread. I don’t lurk on DL every waking waking moment.

Well, lick my dirty Egyptian shitter, thief.

He always looks like he's just smelled something unpleasant. Little does he realize it's himself.

He won the Golden Globe and then just started sweeping up all the subsequent awards. It was odd. I mean the film's ending (the Live Aid part) was really entertaining but he was awkward in the role at best and the teeth were a big mess.

He was unwatchable as a “leading man” in The Little Things.
by Anonymous | reply 15 | October 6, 2021 9:11 PM |
He was the only thing good on The War at Home.

[quote]Was perfect for that roll.
Oh, dear.

The Globes didn't award A Star is Born with all the stuff it was expected to get and then Rami took over as winner everywhere else. Christian Bale was in contention but in an unlikeable film playing an unlikeable person.
Malek will be the next Adrian Brody. (meaning he'll have trouble living up to that Oscar. )
by Anonymous | reply 18 | October 6, 2021 9:45 PM |
He was not. BUTTER was perfect for that roll!

R8 BLIND ITEM - September 2
Speaking of boyfriends, these two closeted A list mostly movie actors don't seem as if they would be a fit for each other, but they have been spending a lot of time together as of late. Jake Gyllenhaal/Rami Malek

Thanks, R20!

I think he's fucking delicious
by Anonymous | reply 24 | March 31, 2022 9:50 AM |
He had weak competition (i.e. nobody that was critically undeniable or considered overdue) and he was in a juggernaut hit.
by Anonymous | reply 26 | March 31, 2022 10:37 AM |
I think he's so cute and very talented. He deserved the Oscar.
by Anonymous | reply 27 | March 31, 2022 11:54 AM |
He's funny looking and I like that.
by Anonymous | reply 28 | March 31, 2022 3:11 PM |
Why would someone tweet this? Are there any rumors?
by Anonymous | reply 29 | March 31, 2022 3:17 PM |
His didn’t deserve that Oscar, but I like him. He had a bitchy comment about Will Smith after the slap, which I respect.
