Skittles and starburst especially seemed to change their flavor around 4 or 5 years ago and now starburst are gross and skittles just don’t taste right anymore.

R1 agree. I used to love both but can’t eat either anymore.

Skittles was one of my favorites and all the flavors together tasted so good but now it tastes weird.

They probably changed it so they could save one penny per bag. It’s all about how hard these companies can squeeze a product until it’s something else entirely.

They did this to yogurt covered fruit snacks with are also now inedible in most brands.

There is a limit to how much money you can pump out of a piece of candy but these companies are determined to keep trying.

Maybe you could just pour pure refined sugar down your throat instead.

It would have the same effect, and you would be sure of the taste.

I thought this was widely known now but ---

All Skittles are all THE SAME FLAVOR. The only difference is each color has a different scent. So, it's the color and scent you're "tasting" as different fruit "flavors."
