I'm surprised that the Caucasian character is being played by a white person and not recast as black. Maybe he'll be non-binary and introduce feudal Japan to proper pronoun usage.

Jarvis is half Armenian and definitely looks mixed. When I first saw him in Lady Macbeth I thought the character was supposed to be biracial. Weird choice for Shogun, since John Blackthorne (based on Williams Adams) should definitely be a white Westerner.

Hopefully Cosmo have plenty of nude scenes in this? He was decent (but brief) eye candy in Raised by Wolves.

Why re make something that was done well?? There are so many good scripts and books that were messed up that really do need a remake.
