Its a good series like a radio play. You don't have to really watch it. You can wash your cat or give yourself a pedicure or role a weeks worth of joints.

I’m looking forward to Season Four. Nina Arianda, who plays his colleague, is very good. Apparently, she made a name for herself on Broadway and even won a Tony.

The actors on every season have been excellent. The one exception is the actress who plays his daughter.

I'm catching up by watching Season 3 which I had skipped. It's quite a bizarre scenario, and potentially wasting some good actors. Maybe it will wrap up well. I certainly didn't expect this inventiveness. I hope its not all bullshit.

Billy Bob looked fantastic in some of the surreal scenes in Season 3. His plastic surgery is really good, IMO.

I have a dear friend who has worked with Billy Bob for many years and I’ve met/hung out with him a few times. Can confirm the following: he’s hung (wardrobe info), extremely kind, and pretty weird.

I like his personality and it makes him attractive to me. I enjoy his interviews, he was on Seth Meyers recently to promote the new season. Seems like he is loyal to his friends (maybe not his women though?).

Such a consistently well acted show. Shame it’s done after this season. Great cast chemistry and BillyBob always delivers with his believable performances.

R15: absolutely loyal to friends. Women he’s involved with? Not so much. In spite of this, I adore the guy.

Well I caught up by watching Season 3 and now I am in Season 4. I think this is stupendous, stylish TV. I was so impressed by S3. It was surreal and fascinating. And Season 4 is a tour de force so far, production wise. I never expected this after Seasons 1 and 2.

I enjoyed the first 3 seasons tremendously, especially S1 & S3. I really thought Season 4 was dreadful, poorly written and miscast. I really like J.K. Simmons in most things, but he was completely wrong for this character. It's as if his thug character from Oz was running a multi-billion-dollar pharmaceutical empire; I just couldn't buy it.

The Chinatown apartment stuff was just bizarre for no reason, as was the Chinese doctor bit. I hated everything about the law firm. None of it made sense, the character dynamics were dumb (Mother-in-law partnering with founding partner's daughter). The black legal associate who got the phone message from the partner who died, just ended up staring for most of the show. And why didn't they report the assault/death on the phone message to the cops? It's as if nobody cared. And still they played that message 3 or 4 times in its entirety. Why?

Patty was ineffectual and suddenly the court scenes are all about Sam? Sam's motivations didn't make sense, nor was the actress up to it. They didn't use Brittany for anything much (a shame, she was outstanding in earlier seasons).

The chemist daughter suddenly goes insane? Billy gets shoved off the roof but catches himself on the way down. Right.

All-in-all a umb and pointless season. And a shame it ended on this sour note.

Billy Bob's son is on a new reality show. He speaks well of Angelina Jolie when she was with his father. Also he says that his dad and Angelina did it better than Machine Gun Kelly/Megan Fox.

That season with the limbless sex fetish thing was strange but I loved seeing Paul Williams again.

I’m just starting Goliath now. It’s fun, like a David Baldacci book. The Billy Bob Thornton character is very familiar but he’s great in the role.

Also the 5th episode has William Hurt fucking Olivia Thirlby which was less unexpected that I would have imagined.

Season 3 is fucking weird man.
