Anticipating something?

Tell that to my ass!

Unless you have a tiny apartment why hasn't everybody already stocked up nonperishable necessities in bulk. It's so much cheaper and no need to worry about momentary blips in the supply chain. Did people learn nothing from 2020?

Apartment dweller here, but it's decent sized - 1,100 sqft. It's definitely do-able to stock up. I could have done it just as easily in my very first apartment which was only about 550 sqft.

I'm hearing that some eastern states (NY, NJ, PA and Ohio, maybe others) are experiencing a liquor shortage because of the pandemic - and that COSTCO is implementing a 2-bottle limit!

What they need to restrict is the amount of food people buy.

R5 I am in upstate NY and there is no liquor shortage in my area. Well, the wine store was out of my favorite Sancerre yesterday, so there is that.

Here's a hint. Start manufacturing in our own country.

by Anonymousreply 8September 25, 2021 11:54 AM

You don't think we "manufacture" toilet paper and water in the US?
