I just saw "Gold Stick," the episode of THE CROWN Menzies submitted for his nomination (and won for). There's a phenomenal scene where a drunken Prince Philip tells Prince Charles what it felt like for his father figure Mountbatten shift his affections to Charles later in life. It's incredible work on Menzies' part--he goes through so many different emotions in the scene.
