R5 I know how you feel. I used to love the old Roseanne. Even her early comedy was clever. The original series (except that last season) were trailblazing. She used to espouse so many forward-thinking, progressive views before they ever became popular to say. I remember watching this bizarre webshow she did back in the early 2000s where she was getting a bit more kooky, but still pretty smart as a whip. Then something happened, and she just sunk into this truly bizarre abyss. I wonder if the foray into Scientology for a while had something to do with it. It's sad to see what she has become.

Despite how genuinely forward-thinking and groundbreaking "Roseanne" was in its best years (and it absolutely was), she was pretty nuts almost even from the beginning. As soon as she divorced her first husband and married Tom Arnold, her behavior became more and more erratic and disturbing.
