The reality of it was so surreal that I can only imagine that the cinematic version would seem more realistic than what actually happened.

They would need CGI animation just to accurately depict the reality of Trump's real appearance. And they would have to hire some extremely hack writers to intentionally write unbelievable dialogue and plotting. The 'Dotard versus Little Rocketman' story arc alone that concluded in "We fell in love!" unfolded like a drunk editor nonsensically stitched together scenes from two different badly written scripts. And it really happened.
