Does Trump really think he won or is that just a tactic?

I watched the new doc The Meaning of Hitler and they said he literally had no concept of existence outside of how it filtered through him. Nothing and no one else mattered. That’s Trump as well—a complete and pathological narcissist. They believe “their reality “ is more real and have the ability to deny out of existence any other. He definitely believes it because he thinks it.

Trump knows he lost. The rest is all bullshit.

I used to think he was just knowingly lying but now I really don't know which. He's bonkers either way.

Jimmy Kimmel shared Trump in an interview telling a completely false story involving Trump and Kimmel. None of it was true but Kimmel said Trump's told the story a couple times even tho it's verifiably false. And it's such a nothingburger story, nothing to lie about that is, so it's like Trump actually thinks it's real and it makes me think, big picture, he doesn't know what's real and what's not.

He’s a lunatic with — at best — a tenuous grasp on reality.

He doesn't care if it's true. It's what his fans want to hear and, more important, he is raising money off it.

I think he knows he lost but admitting it would break him psychologically. He'd rather continue to pretend that the election wasn't illegitimate because a bunch of people voted by mail.

People with narcissistic personality disorder don't have a very good hold on reality. Their minds are concentrated on keeping themselves from being overwhelmed by feelings of inadequacy and emptiness, which they do by constantly pumping themselves up so they feel like they're the greatest people ever and totally in control of every situation. So they lie and exaggerate and willfully overlook inconvenient facts CONSTANTLY. They don't believe anything they're saying or think about what it means. They live moment to moment. It's very confusing if you're not used to it.
