I've been wanting to catch the comments going on and on about this, but I've been too late to the discussion. There was equipment left there, but what's not being said, is that it's worthless shit and even if we could bring it back, the cost would be so insane, it wouldn't be logical.

They act like we left up of the line war machines, when it was so basic, other countries wouldn't even want it. They have much better. Our guys didn't even want to deal with the helicopters there because they were pieces of shit that needed constant maintenance. There's no way it'll be worthwhile to the taliban. They wouldn't have access to parts needed either. It's the same story with the other crap like vehicles.

Remember that next time someone crows about handing over all these goods. It was garbage and the "value" is being inflated. I'm guessing contractors might've charged a hefty bill to supply these things, but they always overcharge the government. Plus, of course it was millions in equipment -- 1000s of used cars would be millions in cost too, just because of the number of them supplied.
