I watched the 'Days' miniseries on Peacock, after having not watched the main soap for x15 years. Were the writing, sets, acting, etc always this bad? I'm not being insulting; just inquiring. I don't see how it's been on the air as long as it has if it was always so cheap-looking and poorly written.

I'm willing to accept that because he is being held there by Satan, normal rules don't apply. Basically, Satan has someway to keep him alive without food or water and to keep him from having to use the restroom. Also, the only three people he has possessed as been Doug, Marlena and Susan. I'm not sure why he was able to possess Doug, as I only started watching on the day of the reveal that he was Satan, but Marlena was easy, because she had been before and did it to save Doug's life. Susan was easy to possess because of her psychic abilities. He hasn't possessed Kristian he just transforms Susan's body into her.
