I just watched the 30 Rock episode where she tussles Peter Dinklage’s hair, thinking he’s a child.

There’s a picture of him in the article below where he’s clean shaven. He looks better and his blue eyes pop without that floppy hair. She’s probably 5’5” but with the standard 4” heel in red carpet photos, she towers over him. I think it’s kind of quaint and sweet she’s only been with him.

She’s probably just an unusually insecure/scared sort of person, which explains losing her virginity at 26, having only one partner, and making sure that partner is on a lower rung on the attractiveness ladder. Richmond, being a homunculus, has probably always been grateful that a woman as attractive as Fey ever gave him the time of day. His endless gratitude and desperation to make sure she’s never displeased are both probably essential ingredients to keeping a marriage functioning with someone who is neurotic and insecure.

R31 Just speculating. I’ve seen this dynamic/scenario play out many times. Fey is thought of as pretty now, but she was probably homely or plain when she was growing up, probably has a poor self image, uses comedy to deflect, etc etc.

Tina has more chemistry with Amy Poehler. I think there is some traumatic sexual abuse story in Tina's childhood, and the story she shared about her scar barely scratches the surface.
