I think she get's frustrated because she gets harassed by (mostly white) annoying twinks almost daily on her social media. If Ariana, Lana, Gaga, or Charli were similarly mentally ill, they would probably do the same shit. As a white guy who still follows her and still listens to her music, I know that she loves gay guys. Just because something she posts or says superficially sounds homophobic, doesn't mean that's necessarily the intention, there is nuance. She literally designed a soap called Bussy Boy to help bottom's assholes heal after too many poundings. That inherently disqualifies her of any claims of "homophobia" in my book. Also this proves cancelling does nothing, because everyone gets canceled for literally the dumbest shit. All of the girls I mentioned have been accused of things like racism, homophobia, sexism, ableism, etc.,

The facts are exactly the opposite of what r4 is reporting: it was Azealia who started lobbing homophobic attacks, and white gays were the ones who retaliated later, while black gays kept kissing her black ass. And yet, not even white gays turned their backs on her completely: she continued to be invited to perform in pride parades, for example. In that sense, OP is right: people from certain demographic categories are harder to cancel than others.

When entertainment news reported that Frank Ocean was hosting an all-male sex party with PrEP users, Azealia, for some reason, thought she had to butt in and made several attacks against gays, people who practice anal sex and PrEP users. When she decided to explain herself, she pretended that her target was only white gays, but anyone who kept in mind how the whole thing started saw that it was her hatred of Frank Ocean, a black man, that had started the all bullshit. But Azealia knows that pretending her homophobia is only valid against white men is popular on woke twitter, and it really worked for a while: a bunch of gay blacks came to defend her then. Idiots.

If the mob were active today, he would probably be arguing that the mob can't be homophobic because they own some bars that cater to gay men. I've never seen anyone that sounded as dumb as r4.

Saying black people can't be canceled is silly. Bill Cosby, Chris Brown, Dababy, R.Kelly, Stacey Dash, Kanye West, and TI are the first ones that come to mind. Azealia was canceled plenty of times for a lot of shitty behavior. Cancellation doesn't = death. They can still get paid to perform, create, or whatever. A white man, Louis CK famously got canceled, but he still performs to packed comedy clubs.
