Bourbon Sour
I'm beginning to make plans for my Thanksgiving dinner and want to have two signature cocktails that I can make in pitchers ahead of time. I'm thinking of Bourbon Sours in one and still need another.
If you arrived at someone's house on Thanksgiving afternoon, would you be pleased to see a pitcher of Bourbon Sours as one of the cocktail options?

I always do a champagne punch with cranberries for Thanksgiving but a bourbon sour is always welcome.

R5, that is so funny. I was looking at a recipe for Pisco sours earlier today. It appeared on a list of Thanksgiving cocktails. I've never had one. What do they taste like?

It sounds good to me, OP.
However, I would use fresh citrus juices (i.e., I wouldn't use the bottled mixes).
The sour mix (homemade) can be used with pretty much every other hard liquor.
Tequila: margaritas.
Brandy: sidecar.
Vodka / gin: Tom Collins (need plain soda as well).
Amaretto: amaretto sour.
Etc.
