What are your feelings towards out actor Billy Porter?

He's very amusing

I used to like him but he pitches everything at 100+ and it's exhausting.

Very talented but his gimmick has gotten old. Gaga knew when to put the meat dress behind her.

I love his version of Beauty School Dropout.

She's full of herself. She couldn't underplay a scene even if her character was a deaf mute.

He had an absolutely spectacular voice until acid reflux snatched up most of his range. He actually arranged the version of Beauty School Dropout R4 linked above (IIRC, he was not credited for it); you can really hear him in his prime on that track - the technical prowess and agility is something else. With that being said, I cannot stand to watch him act in anything. I'm sure typecasting plays a part in this, but he plays the same neckrolling, lip-smacking, "woo chile" character in everything he is cast in. Very tiresome.

I want to love him but if you’ve ever seen the music video for his cover of “For What Its Worth” it shows everything that’s annoying about him.

I read that he was supposed to have launched years ago, but his big break was on Rosie O’Donnell’s old show and she insisted this unknown talent sing show tunes. The fraus fans didn’t know who Porter was, and didn’t connect with the Broadway tunes O’Donnell made him sing, and he wound up not catching anyone’s attention. Porter fired his manager afterwards, perhaps because the manager was steamrolled by Rosie. He was supposed to be a Luther Vandross type R&B singer. Well we all know what happened, he languished for another decade or so, until being discovered comparatively late in Kinky Boots.

Annoying attention whore. But I do give Porter credit for being able to successfully sashay in high heels.

He's a grotesquery. Definition- ludicrous, incongruous, unnaturalness, distortion, qualities of appearance that do not give pleasure to the senses.

His eyes are freakishly small. Almost inverted.

Don't really follow him. My deceased older brother was a cross dresser back in the 60's. He was not trans(he loved his big old dick & would have done nothing to alter it)just loved dressing up & trying to pick up guys in bars. I was his unwilling stylist, personal shopper, make-up artist, companion barfly.He was big, athletic, handsome but alpha male looking. I was looking up & thanking God when Fright Drag hit.
