Ok, I followed all links in this thread, and I still think he is not gay. None of the images spelled 'gay' to me.

I (white) work with a lot of Filipino men and women for 15 years. When I started I, too, thought that all the Filipino men acted gay. They were more soft spoken than what I had experienced before. They had facial features that were the opposite of rough compared from what I knew with my white-as-can-be background. And A LOT of them were really into dancing. Fact is though, they are all extremely gay friendly, but they are all happily married with kids with no gay bone in their body. The look doesn't tell you anything. And 'gay voice' seems to be a construction based on Caucasian stereotypes. There is something like Asian gay voice, but this actor does not have it.

I live in Toronto and have worked in the TV and film industry here and I've heard nothing about Simu Liu being gay. In fact, I've heard of him having a bit of a "creepy" reputation around younger women and that he's difficult to work with.
