a delight for the mind and EYE!

will you be serving on your roof desk in the BACK BAY?

by Anonymousreply 1September 3, 2021 7:28 PM

Are you pregnant, OP?

by Anonymousreply 2September 3, 2021 7:29 PM

OP is the Legion of Doom version of DL's delusional fancy dinner party queen. I can't decide which one is worse, or better....

by Anonymousreply 3September 3, 2021 7:31 PM

Strawberry Hill? I think the Country Kwencher would highlight the carbunkles better.

by Anonymousreply 4September 3, 2021 7:33 PM

On my balcony overlooking Cape COD!!!

In a size 62 caftan, turban and velvet slippers.

by Anonymousreply 5September 3, 2021 7:33 PM

Greg, your recipes and attitude suck

by Anonymousreply 6September 3, 2021 7:37 PM

Musn't forget the cinnamon!

by Anonymousreply 7September 3, 2021 7:39 PM

I also add fresh roast beet gravy and Mexican seasonings to my Bechamel to give it flavour and kick.

by Anonymousreply 8September 3, 2021 7:42 PM

Think of me as the “Julia Child in a turban with a prolapsed hole”

by Anonymousreply 9September 3, 2021 7:44 PM

Elderly prunes is fucking genius.

by Anonymousreply 10September 3, 2021 8:43 PM

Did you mean prego, OP? Because I googled and preggo means pregnant. And carbuncle? Gross. I google imaged it and got such disgusting photos of oozing boils I now have PTSD.

Anyway, that shitty recipe sounds awful. Not enough alcohol. I'd add more vodka. LOTS more more vodka. Pour it on your carbuncles along with Prego and barf for years.

by Anonymousreply 15September 3, 2021 9:13 PM

The joke flies over the head of r11

by Anonymousreply 16September 3, 2021 9:15 PM

😂😂😂

by Anonymousreply 17September 3, 2021 9:16 PM

Thanks for the recipe, Gregg! If I don't have Preggo can I substitute ketchup?

by Anonymousreply 18September 3, 2021 9:16 PM

Meantime prepare Gregg’s Bechamel sauce

After chili cools, pour bechamel sauce on top.

Serve over a bed of fresh Doritos and kale

Enjoy Bitches!!!!

by Anonymousreply 19September 3, 2021 9:19 PM

R16 is clueless.

by Anonymousreply 20September 3, 2021 9:21 PM

Will stale Doritos do in a pinch?

by Anonymousreply 21September 3, 2021 9:22 PM

Stale adds more flavor!!!!

by Anonymousreply 22September 3, 2021 9:28 PM

It should be stuffed in Covid, not cod. That pesky autocorrect.

by Anonymousreply 23September 3, 2021 10:14 PM

Greg, I’m getting sick of your diseased recipes.

by Anonymousreply 24September 3, 2021 11:14 PM

I’m thinking of putting out a cookbook

. “Gregg’s Lovely Seafood & Fruit Homestyle Fixins”

Will you buy a copy?

by Anonymousreply 29September 4, 2021 12:12 PM

A great idea, I’d give them to all the gals in my book club

by Anonymousreply 30September 4, 2021 1:14 PM

This Gregg needs his own bully.. Anyone up for the challenge? ^^^😂😂

by Anonymousreply 31September 4, 2021 1:38 PM

This Gregg has taste and style

by Anonymousreply 32September 4, 2021 1:38 PM

[quote]a full 16 oz of elderly prunes

I beg your pardon?!

by Anonymousreply 33September 4, 2021 1:45 PM

Gregg? Any suggestions for recipes by the pool for my neighbor Joel?

by Anonymousreply 34September 4, 2021 1:45 PM

I think Greg with one G cooks better.

by Anonymousreply 35September 4, 2021 1:45 PM

Ues, the way to get that sexy Joel into your heart and bedroom is this:

Gregg’s: Lovely Shrimp and Prunes Surf and Turf

Get a steaks at Walmart, Porterhouse or Ribeye s as you prefer

Take 16oz of Prunes and add 1/2 cup of V8 tomato Juice

Puree Prunes and V8 juice in Food processor

Purree until in a big mess (it’s supposed to look that way)

Take steak and rub heartily with salt, pepper, Mayo and seasoned salt

Heat bacon grease in cast iron skillet; Add steaks and a quarter cup of flour mixed with shredded cheddar and a dollop of cheese whiz

Carefully sear each side and then:

Add prune mix, cover and….

Bake at 345 for six hours

Serve with bake potato doused in milk and Collard Greens mixed with cabbage

Garnish with several Cod heads with eyeballs painted lime green

Now that sexxy pool boy will be yours forever.

Delicious!!! Enjoy!!!

by Anonymousreply 36September 4, 2021 2:18 PM

by Anonymousreply 37September 4, 2021 2:32 PM

Sexy times

by Anonymousreply 38September 4, 2021 4:49 PM

I know you are kidding with this recipe but I have a shakshuka cod recipe that is really very good.

I know I didn’t spell the word correctly but I can’t be bothered to go look up the recipe.

I got it from the Costco monthly magazine of all places 🤗🤗

by Anonymousreply 39September 4, 2021 5:02 PM

Shake that shackshucka like there’s no tomorrow

by Anonymousreply 40September 4, 2021 8:10 PM

You never try my recipes!

by Anonymousreply 41September 4, 2021 9:19 PM

R39 Oh, We LOVE our Cod here. I looked up the shakshuka cod and it looks …Heavenly. Can I suggest addint some minced prunes on top and a lovely dollop of my Bechamel sauce topped with store bought Mozzarella? Then soak some mint tea bags in apple cider vinegar and pour the whole mess into the Cod shakshuka!!!! Then a can of chewing tobacco for some kick. Garnish with freshly pulled poke.

Enjoy!!!

by Anonymousreply 42September 5, 2021 12:44 AM

Fans. I’m giving thought to a Youtube Channel devoted to my delishus recipes and cooking with a sexxy flair. Think of it as Cod heads and an aging Twink. Something like Mrs. Fairford, sans the nice hair, make-up, manners, style, and 42Ds. Is there room in the crowded Youtube market for a Cod savant?

by Anonymousreply 43September 5, 2021 12:56 AM

Cheryl + Gregg = cooking network success!

by Anonymousreply 44September 5, 2021 2:38 AM

Prunes and Cod in Tomato sauce for everyone!!!!

by Anonymousreply 45September 5, 2021 12:20 PM

Gregg, I trust you use GOOD cod and GOOD prunes.

by Anonymousreply 46September 5, 2021 1:23 PM

Prunes, how bad can That be?

by Anonymousreply 47September 5, 2021 1:38 PM

I do try to use Good prunes, but for the cod, I tend to find the diseased stuff on bargain basement sale at the local fishmongers.

by Anonymousreply 48September 6, 2021 12:16 PM

Is Filene’s still a walk from the Back Bay?

by Anonymousreply 49September 6, 2021 1:45 PM

Back Bay is where I catch my cod and communicable diseases.

by Anonymousreply 50September 7, 2021 4:02 AM

Friends and Fans,

Last night there was a terrible accident. I had a Grindr hookup, Olaf over and when I presented hole, I accidentally shot him with five rapid fire prunes out of my hole. The prunes hit Olaf with the force of a Hurricane, Gurl. He suffered third degrees burns and horrific bruising. Pray for Olaf so he can make it and not tap out. He is in the hospital in critical condition.

Meantime, the Police have sealed my hole some sort of mortar. I’m not saying anything because a single shot of prunes will vanquish their cement. Btw: Tonight I’m cooking “Cod & Prunes a la mode”. What a treat!!!

by Anonymousreply 51September 7, 2021 11:25 AM

Is he at Mass general, the largest traumer centah in the arear?

by Anonymousreply 52September 7, 2021 11:50 AM

Poor Olaf is dead. He did not survive. My hole is powerful and pungent. I mourn Olaf tonight as I begin to slaughter my Cod. Well, it’s actually carp and catfish tonight. I bought it off some crackhead white trash guy fishing in the river.

I’m thinking of Cod Fishloaf with Prune stuffing and a zesty tomato sauce.

by Anonymousreply 53September 7, 2021 6:29 PM

zesty !

by Anonymousreply 54September 7, 2021 7:25 PM

Cod Fish Loaf with Prune Stuffing in a Zesty Tomato sauce

Take your cods and salt them and rub with mint: set aside

Take two whole jars of Prunes and fry those bitches in some Lars

Add 1 garlic clove, onions and one large jar of jalapeños peppers.

Add 2 boxes of stovetop Pork stuffing to stuffing mix with 2 cups of milk: boil fiercely

Add shredded cabbage and six sliced slim jims

Put stuffing in oven and bake on 450 for 12 hours

Meantime take the cod and slit they gizzards

The Cod will then be Grilled on a George Foreman or outdoor grill

When Cod are done and look dried out let sit until stuffing is done

Stuff Cod corpses with stuffing mix and then drown in Ragu spaghetti sauce

Add Gregg’s Bechamel and a layer of cheese whiz.

Bake again for three hours at 450.

Garnish with Walnuts, Mayo dollops and lots of fresh collard greens.

Serve with Texas toast

Yummy for a man’s tummy!!!

by Anonymousreply 55September 8, 2021 1:26 AM

Isn’t this thread more of a mid-August joke than an early September one?

by Anonymousreply 56September 8, 2021 1:44 AM

No. Good food and recipes to share is a year around joy. Tomorrow:

Cod Balls in Prune Juice soup

Delish!!!

by Anonymousreply 57September 8, 2021 4:12 AM

You had me until you misspelled yogurt.

by Anonymousreply 58September 8, 2021 4:24 AM

I personally myself use Gregg's recipes and they're a hoot!

I've also used Gregg's famous bar recipes.

A Gregg Cod-tini:

3 oz Liqui-cod

9 oz Gordon's gin

1 TBS of Mogan David

1 TSP Tomato puree

4 prunes on a skewer for garnish

by Anonymousreply 59September 8, 2021 4:50 AM

Gregg, this thread has me laughing way more than I should.

by Anonymousreply 60September 8, 2021 5:30 AM

Here's Gregg's famous Coddy Sark Collins:

1 tbs of sugar

2 oz of EeZee-Cod Whip (your local Czech grocery)

3 oz of cutty sark scotch whisky

1 oz of prune Juice

by Anonymousreply 61September 8, 2021 6:15 AM

I like to “civilize the masses” as Oscar used to say. Glad folks are enjoying my tastey dishes.

by Anonymousreply 62September 8, 2021 10:44 AM

R58: i probably did this (if it wasn’t a typo, which I am plagued with):

People also ask What is the difference between yoghurt and yogurt? Image result for yoghurt What does yoghurt mean? Yoghurt is a variant spelling of yogurt that is common in British English. It can be used in all the same contexts as its American counterpart yogurt. While yoghurt is much more common in British English than in American English, it still isn't the dominant spelling.

by Anonymousreply 63September 8, 2021 10:48 AM

Slovenly slatterns and sluts of the night would spurn the delights that Gregg offers, but elegant people of the Back Bay enjoy prunes with cod, neck bones, ramen, cheezwhiz and the like, and rejoice!

by Anonymousreply 64September 8, 2021 11:52 AM

Cap’n Jack’s Fish Soda goes well with all of Gregg’s recipes !!

by Anonymousreply 65September 8, 2021 2:38 PM

I am thinking of selling a line of air freshners and scented candles:

1. Gregg’s Hummer Cod Divine

2. Gregg’s Prolapsed Hole

by Anonymousreply 66September 8, 2021 5:52 PM

R64. Clearly you are a gentleman who prefers fine dining and has exclusive taste.
