I love cooking but i sincerely hate dicing onions. Now that i'm back to cooking for myself instead of buying Doordash, i'd really appreciate a short cut on vegetable prep.
Does anyone have any non-electric appliances that are adept at dicing/chopping onions (and other stuff, but mostly onions)?

Get a Slap Chop or equivalent. I think mine is OXO brand.

I bought one about a year ago on Amazon. It has a cup on the bottom and as you push it down it twists so it chops all that is in the base. I'll look for it when I have a minute.

The Vidalia chop wizard works like a charm, and is still holding up after 5 years.

Dicing onions is so easy once you know the trick.
You really need a shortcut for this?

I know "the trick" but it is still time consuming for me and i don't like it. Period. I've been cooking for over 38 years. I just want to be done with dicing onions. And I've fucking earned it.
Also, i'm good with garlic and shallot processing. It's just the onions i hate (but love in my dishes). I think it's because I have small hands.

I can't chop onions because they hurt my delicate eyes too much. I have a chopper but it doesn't work very well. Looking for a better model since onions are in fucking everything!
