However, 1) She came across as matronly and "pure" in Blade Runner, and 2) why cast her in the first place? She says it was because she shunned his advances. By then, the rumours about her by Woods had already started, and she lost the plum role as Vickie Vale due to the horse-riding accident. She was quite vulnerable to those in power.

That same year, Woods and his then wife/fiancee sued her for "harassment," including leaving a severed doll's head on his doorstep, according to them. That's the story that sticks. However, when things are settled out-of-court, Woods ends up having to cover her legal costs, which isn't the story that sticks.

Yeah, she went on Joan Rivers dressed up as Catwoman, an attention-getting move for all the wrong reasons. But, by then, it's 1991, she's off the A-list, and everyone thinks she's crazy, so she probably had run out of fucks to give.

Maybe because he's a director and not an actor, Oliver Stone doesn't get much attention for being possibly the craziest person in Hollywood. His brand of crazy is pure dark crazy -- he luxuriates in making those around him feel terrible, he loathes women (few of his movies ever have a good female role), he abuses his sexual victims but somehow has managed to avoid the Me-Too movement, and his politics are so incoherent as to be inexplicable (remember that interview he did with Putin?). And of course, he's done more coke that the entire state of Connecticut. His children have turned out terribly. He has, however, disappeared from view for the last few years, possibly because he's been in an institution (where he spent many years when he was young).
